http://ninjatune.net/artist/emikaMy headphones gave out recently, so I've been sticking my laptop under my pillow so I can continue to fall asleep to music. For the last week and a half, all I've been listening to is Emika. Her voice someone how manages to be sexy and haunting at once, which is also a perfect description of the beats she sings over. Yeah, it puts me to sleep, but in a good way.
Sounds kinda cool. What kinda music is this exactly?
ReplyDeleteIt's a sort of bass-heavy, dubstep-influenced pop. There's a really dark underlayer, though, which is what makes it so intriguing.
